Tell us about That’sSewLaura – what do you make and sell?

That’sSewLaura is a handmade and affordable fashion accessory brand specialising in bold, colourful and fun hair accessories, slow fashion and jewellery!

We are a fashion brand that never compromises on quality. As well as our exclusive fabrics designed in house, we aim to select a gorgeous range of colourful and varied fabrics and glitters from local businesses right here in the UK, we are firm believers in community!

At That’sSewLaura we believe our items should be accessible for any individual and feel that quality and the ability to express your individuality through your gorgeous accessories shouldn’t be compromised by high cost! We also believe in sustainability and continue to grow our zero-waste line of hair accessories!

How did you get started?

I started ThatsSewLauraUK when I was 6 months pregnant because I believed that quality fashion should be fun and accessible to everyone, living off maternity pay and wanting to look fabulous really drove me to create products that spoke to my love for dopamine dressing but also that didn’t break the bank!

What does the GoodMarket mean to you and your business?

GoodMarket has been a pillar in helping me reach a multitude of customers throughout the Uk, they have supported my brand allowing me  to be visible to multiple demographics but also have supported my journey by creating events that have allowed me success and have helped my brand take the next steps and expand to trade within other retailers!

Can you describe the atmosphere of a GoodMarket event?

GoodMarkets are fun, well organised and have a hive of good vibes at every event! The music is well curated creating a great background ambience, Rebekah is always engaging and checking in with traders making you feel confident about trading especially if it’s your first event! They have such a good mix of traders it’s so lovely being able to meet others and everyone’s always in a great mood!

What would you say to someone thinking of coming down to GoodMarket XL?

DO IT!!! Don’t miss out on what’s going to be an incredible event! You will get the chance to meet so many amazing brands that provide incredible quality products and services! If you are a buyer it’s a great chance to pick up last minute items to stock in time for Christmas and if you are a customer it’s the perfect day out, with a tonne of masterclasses and lots of amazing brands to choose goodies from!
