Tell us about Kip Candle Co.

We hand-make high strength, luxury soy candles and soaps, all nature inspired and seasonal.

How did you get started?

Candle making was a hobby of Kyle’s as a way to unwind and relax, Anna was a big candle fan, and after Kyle made a batch of candles as a gift for her, requests came in from other family members and Kip Candle Co.  grew organically from there! We began making scents that were inspired by our travels to special places as a way to relive our adventures.

What does the GoodMarket mean to you and your business?

GoodMarket is a real community of brilliant makers and craftspeople, beautifully curated in wonderful locations. It’s organisers are so passionate about small local business, and it’s incredible to feel so supported as a small business. We love seeing familiar faces as well as new makers at these events and have discovered some really excellent products and makers!

How would you describe GoodMarket events?

Always jam packed with quality gifts and items. There is always a real buzz at a GoodMarket –  well organised with brilliant music and djs as well as tasty treats and coffee! It makes a really lovely day out, and is a great way to support local business.

What would you say to someone thinking of coming down to GoodMarket XL?

It’s a fab way to spend a day; you’ll have a lovely time browsing and shopping local makers – especially in the run up to Christmas your support of small business means everything!
