Candle Collective
Tell us about your business – what do you make and sell?
I make hand poured vegan, cruelty free scented candles, wax melts, diffusers and other home fragrance products – everything from self-care treats to special gifts.
How did you get started?
In 2018, inspired by the idea to add a personal touch to our wedding day, I embarked on a journey that would ultimately lead to the creation of Candle Collective UK! Fuelled by the desire to capture the magic of that special occasion through scent, I began creating unique, hand poured candles. What started as a personal project soon blossomed into a small business, where every candle I create continues to be made in small batches with love and attention, and with unique scents to help you create your own fragrant memories!
What does the GoodMarket mean to you and your business?
GoodMarket has given my business such a boost. Firstly it’s given me the opportunity to get in front of customers which makes such a difference with a scented product! I’ve also gained some really good customers who have become great friends and it’s great to be able to catch up with them in such a brilliant setting. GoodMarket are always trying to stay ahead and do something new and innovative for both the customers who attend markets and us as makers and I love that!
Rebekah and the Good Market team have always championed my business and having that real support makes a difference!
Can you describe the atmosphere of a GoodMarket event?
GoodMarket events are always full of beans! The atmosphere is like nothing else from the moment you step in. it’s a feast for the senses and full of amazing products to explore! I’m always excited as I know I’m going to have a fun day and the other traders are always warm, welcoming and fun to be around.
What would you say to someone thinking of coming down to GoodMarket XL?
Do it! Such a great day out and a brilliant place to find something new and browse around with your friends
